Consumer Insights Analyst – Sydney CBD - Permanent

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Insights Analyst to join a growing team responsible for taking the wealth of quality data available to better understand our customers and how best to service their needs, creating the insights that will change our business.  This is a Full Time Permanent opportunity based in our Sydney CBD offices.

The role includes identifying the highest value business issues and providing detailed analysis and insights by way of data mining, merging data from disparate sources, segmentation and modelling, including developing predictive models to optimise profitable growth. With a strong blend of technical and business skills this role has the ability to convert analytical findings into actions to optimise customer acquisition and management.

You will need to have a natural curiosity and passion for finding answers and solutions that drive business outcomes and enjoy working in a small team on a basis of trust and openness.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Solid experience in data extraction, statistical modelling and analysis
  • Experience across a range of modelling techniques
  • Strong SAS, R or Python programing skills
  • Experience with data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau
  • Campaign analysis skills will be highly regarded
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience within the Insurance industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Studies or Research
