CTP Claims Team Manager

CTP Liability and Claims provides claims services for Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance. CTP provides cover for personal injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Allianz employs specialist claims staff to manage these claims. Claims are managed by teams organised according to injury type.


An opportunity now exists within our Brisbane CTP Claims department ‎‎for a‎ self-motivated and committed professional to utilise their customer ‎‎service and injury claims experience to contribute to the success of ‎our team, as a leader of a team of CTP Claims Consultants! We recognise the value of challenging our staff and as a result, this unique development opportunity will see you managing a motivated team, to manage a variety of injury claims and driving best possible outcomes.

As a Team Manager, you will motivate, coach and develop your team of CTP Claims Consultants, in building effective working relationships with a variety of key ‎‎stakeholders, including injured claimants and/or their lawyers, reviewing treatment requests and organising investigations into claims ‎with a focus on proactive claims management. You will develop strategies with your team, so to meet their KPI targets and for you to meet your own KPI targets.


The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proven experience in personal injury claims, across a wide range of injury and claim types
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Time management skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Experience and skills to motivate, coach and develop people to deliver required outcomes
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned ‎tasks and deliver required outcomes
