Claims Consultant – Consumer Credit Insurance Claims (CCI)

This is a fantastic time to join the CCI/Life Claims team. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be part of a high performance culture and join a results-driven team consisting of Claims Consultants and administrative support staff.

As a Claims Consultant, you are the first ‎point of contact for customers making a claim and also help existing customers with ‎their enquiries. You will have passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers in ‎their “Moment of Truth" and act as a true ambassador of a trusted brand.‎

Key responsibilities include:

•    Manage a portfolio of Involuntary Unemployment claims from lodgement until finalisation
•    Ensuring consistent delivery of a high standard of customer service at all contacts with customers
•    Provide regular updates to customers and other stakeholders throughout the duration of their claim
•    Obtaining and reviewing appropriate information to ensure quality decision making
•    Building effective working relationships with a variety of key ‎‎stakeholders – both internal and external

Ideally, you will possess:

•    Excellent customer service ethic
•    Background in handling general insurance claims or in a direct customer service role
•    Experience dealing with customers of varied backgrounds
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Excellent time management skills
•    Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills
•    An ability to take ownership of assigned ‎tasks
