This role will be tasked to drive and as necessary project manage and assist Line 1 with implementing the organisation's Risk Ownership Framework, in a consistent and sustainable manner.

As part of Allianz' Line 2 team you will work closely with the identified Line 1 framework owners to develop, maintain and monitor the implementation of the accountability framework consisting of risk management policies and procedures for the relevant material risk in line with CPS 220.

You'll be responsible for:

  • The support and management of relevant stakeholders to deliver the risk frameworks they own
  • Sustainably embedding accountability and assurance as part of the project
  • Meeting agreed deliverables and ensuring that outcomes are realistic and sustainable
  • Delivering practical solutions, in terms of work flow, attestations and assurance

Important to your success:

  • Minimum 5-7 year experience in risk management for a complex insurance or financial services organisation, ideally APRA regulated.
  • Demonstrated experience with successful management of risks in change combined with experience in the implementation, improvement, assessment and management of frameworks.
  • Experience with the identification, assessment and management of key risks associated with change.
  • Experience with controls assurance implementation and operation 
  • Demonstrated successful management of senior stakeholders and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification is highly desired (Legal, Business or Commerce will be viewed favourably)
