Senior Manager, Modelling & Campaign Data Build

We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager, Modelling & Campaign Data Build to join our Customer and Insights team on a permanent basis in our Sydney CBD offices.

Directly reporting to the Group Manager, Customer & Insights this role will lead a team of 5 direct reports and will be responsible for the application of predictive modelling tools and techniques, and the generation of customer lists for targeted campaigns.

You will work closely with the broader Market Management division to optimise customer engagement and sales outcomes from targeted campaigns, as well as the value delivered through predictive models.

You will deliver continuous process improvement in direct marketing practice to increase campaign throughput and minimise risk, while adopting new business technologies and channel capabilities as they are introduced.

The role will also work closely with IT in the strategic management of key data sources, the campaign platform, and the ongoing development of data marts and data warehouses to support targeting & analytics.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A minimum of 8 - 10 years' experience in a similar or related role with a proven track record of leading teams
  • Proficiency with marketing technology stacks such as Adobe, Unica, Salesforce or similar
  • Advanced resource planning, scheduling, prioritisation and delivery skills, including understanding of methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Agile.
  • A deep understanding of contemporary models and techniques in marketing, including AI and machine learning
  • Strong engagement and influencing abilities at the executive level, and ability to lead stakeholders to clear outcomes
  • The ability to communicate complex concepts and simplify them for practical business application
  • Experience working with large databases, preferably with SAS and SQL
  • Strong understanding of the concepts of experimental design
  • Knowledge of design thinking and customer journey mapping will be high desirable
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, marketing, business discipline or similar
  • Preference for Masters in Business Analytics or similar
