Being part of our Graduate Program is a unique and exciting opportunity. We only take on a small number of graduates each year, which allows you to receive a highly tailored and supportive early career experience.  As an Allianz Graduate, you will be placed into a defined program, but will also have the chance to work with your Graduate peers cross-functionally. You will work on enterprise related projects with your peers and substantially further your education. During your two-year program you will also gain diverse experiences through rotations across our business, as well as the opportunity to participate in a number of personal development activities. Our program enables you to reach your full potential and drive your own career, with our support each step of the way.  For our 2019 Graduate Program, we will be recruiting Graduates in the following streams:


  • General Insurance Leadership

A well-rounded program designed to provide you with a strong grounding in all facets of insurance including Relationship Management and Sales, Product and Pricing, Underwriting, Claims and Project Management. 


  • Underwriting and Risk Management

An expert program designed to teach you the core skills in analysing and evaluating risks, defining terms and conditions of insurance products as well as pricing for our customers. 


  • IT Business Solutions

An expert program designed to ground you in devising digital solutions that address clients' needs. In this role you will gain broad exposure to how we manage customer data, IT architecture, development application strategies, define IT standards and IT security. 


  • Agriculture 

An expert program designed to ground you in all areas of Agricultural Insurance. It will specifically focus on Agricultural Insurance products such as farm, forestry, cropping and cotton.


  • Accounting

An expert program designed to ground you in the key areas of Finance at Allianz.  It will give you an understanding of the important role Finance and Accounting plays in an insurance company with exposure to our full accounting cycle.  You will also be supported to undertake CA or CPA qualifications.



  • Actuarial

An expert program designed to ground you in the key areas of Actuarial at Allianz.  You will gain experience in actuarial research, actuarial finance and workers' compensation and technical training to accelerate your skills.  You will also be supported to complete your Actuarial qualifications both financially and with study leave.

  • You will be due to complete your undergraduate studies by the end of 2018 (applicants who graduated prior to 2018 will also be considered). Please refer to our website for more information on which discipline might best suit you.
  • You understand that you will be required to complete industry qualifications.
  • You must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or hold Australian Permanent Residency at the time of application.
  • Please note, applications without proof of University results will not be included in the selection process.
