Performance Analyst

We currently have a great opportunity available for an experienced Performance Analyst to join ‎the team within our Operations division.  This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad exposure across all aspects of Claims reporting and analytics. 

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide top-down and bottom-up analysis of operational and financial data with particular focus on Motor and Property claims. You will use data to identify performance trends and work closely with the management team to understand the drivers and improvement required to maintain and improve performance across the business. A critical aspect of the role will be the ability to work with frontline management to develop actionable reporting.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Management Reporting - maintain production of existing reporting  in an accurate and timely manner for use by senior management and frontline staff
  • Analytical Support - provide high quality analysis of business trends and key performance indicators to all stakeholders including development of new reporting metrics
  • Project Monitoring and Support - manage data requirements for key projects within Operations as required 

Applications will be considered from candidates from a wide range of industries with the success applicant possessing superior performance reporting and analytics experience. 

Suitable candidates will ideally possess the following skills and attributes: 

  • Highly developed analytical and mathematical skills and a track record of delivering results
  • Demonstrated skills in Advanced MS Excel, VBA, MS Access, and SAS  and the willingness to learn new reporting techniques and tools
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work, whilst working in a fast paced environment
  • Team player with capable of working independently with low levels of supervision
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all level of seniority
  • A proven track record a self-development
  • Insurance experience will be favoured, but is not essential
