The Senior Manager, Digital Media leads the team responsible for generating and analysing web traffic from paid, referred and organic digital channels. The role works closely with their team to execute, optimise and analyse digital campaigns, and as such must have strong Digital Media planning, execution and reporting experience.

The Digital Media team also works closely with the Digital Optimisation team, as well as our Brand and CRM team to align campaign and marketing activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and implementing the digital marketing strategy for Allianz Australia
  • Planning, budget and reporting on paid digital media performance
  • Optimisation of paid and organic Digital Channels and campaigns
  • Provide proactive recommendations and influence senior stakeholders to continually improve digital media performance
  • Proactively identify & capitalise on new digital opportunities to increase effectiveness of digital media spend
  • Liaise closely with external partners & suppliers to ensure our digital marketing capability & activity remains ahead of the market
  • Focus on developing an attribution model and roadmap to understand the most effective media blend
  • Manage, support and develop the Digital Media team to ensure they are exposed to global best practice and organisational networks, and oversee the delivery of projects and BAU across the function to ensure high standards and timely delivery that adds value to business stakeholders

To be successful in this role, the position holder must have:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at a senior management level.
  • Strong experience in Digital Media planning, implementation and reporting
  • Google Adwords, Google Analytics and Doubleclick experience a must. Adobe Media Optimiser and Audience Manager experience desirable.
  • Strong experience using web analytics tools to analyse digital customer engagement and effort and identify opportunities for improvement
  • A high level of commercial acumen in order to identify and develop opportunities for customer conversion and profitability
  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to lead and further develop a high performing team
