We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Instructional / Learning Designer to join our Organisation Capability team, where you will be part of a project that is currently being undertaken to develop our extensive catalogue of eLearning courses and face to face courses, as well as have the opportunity to shape the future of how we deliver learning.

The successful candidate will develop design documents and scripts from existing courseware, take them through the review process with our subject matter experts and in turn work with the development team to create the courses from the ground up. You will also understand the development process for Learning and a range of video and web technologies (especially Lectora) used to develop great learning products.

To shine in this role you will have a strong background in writing content combined with ‎experience in ‎a fast paced environment. Other skills and experience required includes:‎

  • Ability to think laterally
  • Creativity in your approach to developing great learning
  • Collaborative approach to drive and foster ideals
  • Experience with a range of video based and web based multimedia authoring tools
  • Graphic Design
  • Learning design and development experience, with solid experience writing learning content
  • Tertiary qualifications in Learning & Development
  • Lectora experience is highly desirable, however not essential  
  • Ability to critique current learning materials and apply instructional design techniques to modify and improve these materials
  • Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts to create high quality and innovative learning solutions
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of project management principles, experience with MS Project would be desirable, however this is not essential
  • Proficiency in using the Adobe Suite
