Allianz is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our IT Business Services team currently based in the Sydney CBD on a Full Time Permanent basis.

This position is responsible for any hardware, software, system and application issues reported by internal users.

The key skills & experience desired for this position are as follows:-

  • A very strong customer focus with the ability to talk to people.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good technical knowledge of Windows 7 & Microsoft Office 2010.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting desktop applications
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to log and process tickets in an acceptable manner.
  • A desire to pursue a career in IT
  • Available to work a 7.5 hour shift between the hours of 7am-6pm with the ability to work on a rotational roster for after hours on call.

It would be highly regarded if you also have experience in the following areas:-

  • IT Tertiary qualifications
  • Citrix / Lotus Notes / Exchange
  • Exposure to change management practices.
  • Relatively decent typing speed.
