Our Market Management division acts as the voice of Allianz customers, strengthening our brand management and customer centricity throughout the organisation.

The Senior Manager, Market Management Capability is responsible for leading the long-term development and uplift of Allianz Australia's capabilities, including digital, data and customer contact management, leveraging global best practice.

Drawing on a detailed understanding of Allianz Australia's marketing technology capabilities, you will be responsible for developing CapEx and OpEx business cases to drive long term investment to build strategic capabilities, and for managing implementation and change programs, in partnership with other functions such as Customer & Insights and IT. This role is critical to driving the longer-term transformation of Market Management's marketing maturity in line with global innovations and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain active awareness of global best practice and emerging trends in digital marketing and analytics, drawing on thought leadership and contributing to internal education and awareness of leading practices
  • Build strong advisory partnerships with senior business stakeholders to understand group strategy priorities and translate those priorities into medium and long-term capability and investment requirements
  • Maintain close relationships with the Market Management leadership team to identify and develop infrastructure and technology improvement opportunities
  • Analyse technology investment opportunities and benefits, and build business cases for investment
  • Understand and interpret complex IT requirements and translate these into marketing technology specifications
  • Partner with IT and the Market Management leadership team to embed change across the enterprise as part of an ongoing program of capability uplift
  • Manage program implementation, including change management
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance to effectively support and enhance Allianz Australia's Market Management capability development needs
  • Role model collaboration across Allianz Digital and Market Management to deliver solutions to stakeholders that maximise the value of the Market Management function
  • Develop a culture of actively partnering with business stakeholders to understand their business challenges and opportunities and to ensure that Market Management is represented to the highest standards across Allianz Australia and contributes strategic value

To be successful in this role, the position holder must have:

  • A strong understanding of MarTech and AdTech platforms, maintaining a contemporary view as technology evolves
  • Understanding of how marketing teams using MarTech and AdTech platforms to gain competitive advantage
  • Ability to integrate with global platforms and leverage best practice within Allianz Australia and externally
  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to develop commercial business cases for CapEx and OpEx investment
  • Excellent influencing, change management and advisory skills
  • Excellent program management skills
