Our Market Management division acts as the voice of Allianz customers, strengthening our brand management and customer centricity throughout the organisation.

We currently have an attractive opportunity for two (2) experienced Senior Customer Analytics & Insights Specialists who will be responsible for the development, interpretation and application of compelling customer insights to create value for customers that in turns delivers value to the business.

As the Senior Customer Analytics & Insights Analyst you will be responsible for the distilling of complex data from multiple sources, working with minimum sufficient evidence to create and test insights for timely decision-making and execution.  You will also work closely with business stakeholders to embed and apply data and insights into their decision-making to win, retain and grow customers, and create additional value for customers and Allianz.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with peers across the Market Management Division to interrogate available data to develop customer insights and meaningful reporting
  • Partnering with the business to identify and pursue opportunities to create value for customers based on available data and insights
  • Use software such as SQL, SAS (SAS Enterprise Guide or Base), R, Microstrategy, Tableau etc. to access, transform, integrate and analyse customer data from across the enterprise
  • Apply experimental design approaches to BAU and Test & Learn campaigns to target marketing activity and evaluate campaign effectiveness
  • Make recommendations regarding how customer insights can be translated into specific customer campaigns, offers and experiences
  • Support and contribute to key analytics projects, including engaging with stakeholders to define and agree the project scope, milestones and deliverables
  • Contribute to the ongoing communication of progress for projects and key findings upwards and sidewards within the enterprise

 To be successful in this role, the position holder must have:

  • Strong experience working with large and complex data sets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; acting as an internal consultant
  • Be comfortable working with ambiguity and minimum sufficient documentation and evidence
  • Proven experience working with SQL, SAS (SAS Enterprise Guide or Base), R, Microstrategy, Tableau
