Senior Underwriter - Personal Lines and SME

Our commercial division works with a large network of brokers nationally. We offer a large number of products ranging from domestic business through to tailored commercial products

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ‎Senior Underwriter - Personal Lines and SME to join our team in our highly successful NSW commercial team.

In this role you will be responsible for the effective management of projects to deliver key initiatives, formation and implementation of scheme opportunities, monitoring and reporting business and financial KPIs to ensure long term sustainable growth.

As the Senior Underwriter - Personal Lines and SME you will:

  • Effectively manage projects for key initiatives in the Personal Lines and SME lines of business
  • Manage new and existing schemes to track progress to plan and drive actions to close the gap on under delivery of GWP commitment.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reports for the key business and financial indicators.
  • Engage Brokers to better understand market dynamics and trends.

Suitable candidates will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Extensive business experience within the Insurance Industry.
  • Successful track record in achieving revenue growth and profitability
  • Superior customer focus and drive to develop business relationships
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail‎
  • Tertiary qualifications in related discipline (or relevant work experience)
