This is a key leadership role where you will be accountable for managing the planning and implementation of sales and distribution strategies within our Broker & Agency team.  As a proven hands-on relationship manager with insurance knowledge, you will play a critical role in business growth by identifying profitable opportunities and implementing strategic processes that will drive the continuous improvement of our distribution model.

To be successful in this role you will have a seasoned ability to develop, train and mentor sales teams to a world class level of service and delivery, and use best-practice relationship management methods and fine-tuned business acumen to support our business growth strategy.

You will be responsible for;

  • Managing the strategic direction and business planning for TIO's distribution model.
  • Ensuring sales targets and customer service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Creating a high performance culture of achievement centered on best-practice relationship management methods.
  • Managing and assessing the team's training needs and improvement areas and delivering training.
  • Driving and supporting change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting regular data analysis and producing profitability reports.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in sales with proven successes.
  • Experience with commercial insurance operations.
  • A professional demeanour and an ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of time management and initiative.
  • Relevant qualifications (highly regarded).
