Our Technical Division is responsible for pricing, portfolio management, reinsurance and underwriting services. We support our distribution functions through improvement of the product and pricing framework for all of the Allianz General Insurance portfolios.

We currently have a number of Actuarial Analyst and Senior Analyst opportunities to join our growing and successful actuarial team and are seeking candidates with varying levels of actuarial pricing experience to fill these roles.

You will be involved in various aspects of the actuarial functions across our General Insurance portfolios, ‎including, but not limited to: pricing, monitoring, financial reporting, external ‎benchmarking, planning and reinsurance advice.  In addition, you will work closely with ‎internal stakeholders within the business to provide ‎innovative solutions to our customers and ‎provide ad hoc support where necessary.‎

Your experience operating within a general insurance environment, coupled with your ‎initiative and proactive nature, will expose you to numerous opportunities to develop and learn ‎in a friendly and supportive environment.‎

To be considered and successful for this role you must demonstrate:

  • Degree in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics or Finance
  • Proven pricing and analytics experience in General Insurance
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Experience with SAS, predictive modelling, machine learning and data analysis
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional customer service
  • Strong time management and organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task and ‎prioritise your work, whilst working in a fast paced environment
