As the Senior Claims Specialist - Property, Construction, Energy & Engineering you will report to and will work closely with the Property Claims Manager and Head of Claims. Your role will involve managing Property, Construction, Energy and Engineering claims within the Pacific Region of AGCS. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Effective and efficient management of claims
  • Assessing policy coverage
  • Managing different stakeholder relationships including Defence Counsel, Brokers, Loss adjusters and Insureds
  • Active assistance and contribution to the achievement of AGCS Pacific overall financial goals
  • Providing information and updates to management and the underwriting teams on matters affecting their business and decisions
  • Working closely with Market Management to support broker and client relationships

To be considered for this role you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualified
  • Proven technical experience in claims management
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing Property, Construction, Energy and  Engineering claims with some experience with catastrophe management beneficial
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a proactive and enthusiastic manner
  • Confident communication and strong presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills
