Working as National Risk and Compliance Manager you will be providing advice and expertise across our Broker & Agency division supporting the business in managing its risk management and compliance responsibilities. As the National Risk and Compliance Manager will be responsible for the implementation and promotion of Allianz’s Broker & Agency division compliance policies and practices regarding Codes of Practice and Legislation.

You will liaise directly with the senior leaders providing expertise on all divisional risk management and compliance matters and at the same time work as part of the broader risk & compliance team. You will take a lead role in driving the resolution of any risk and compliance matter you become aware of and will see this through to completion.

Your key responsibilities include:

•    Providing a high quality and practical risk and compliance service across the division through identifying, assessing and managing risks
•    Proactively manage remediation of incidents including any process and control improvements to prevent reoccurrence
•    Promote the ongoing development of risk & compliance culture and support Second Line of Defence training initiatives
•    Regular reporting to senior management and the Second Line of Defence

To be considered for this role you should possess:

•    Strong General Insurance or Financial Services industry experience
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•    Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
•    An understanding of relevant legislation and impact/cost of non-compliance is highly desirable
