Our Financial Institutions division distributes home, landlord and motor insurance products via Banks, Credit Unions, Mortgage Broker Groups and Affinity Groups. This is an exciting time for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Financial Institutions team in NSW. As a Business Development Manager within the Mortgage Broker channel, you will manage a portfolio of key partnerships involving championing and managing new initiatives to drive growth as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders – both external and internal.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building strong multi-tier relationships across key partners
  • Actively manage and facilitate Partnership Strategy meetings on a regular basis and manage outcomes of these through to execution
  • Developing , maintaining and bringing to life Partner business plans to maximise partnership opportunities
  • Lead the end to end strategic partnership process including delivery within own state
  • Provide reporting and insights on key partnerships and utilise to drive growth
  • Providing technical, general and non-advice insurance support
  • Working closely with key partners and their distribution networks to identify cross-sell opportunities and maximise sales outcomes
  • Identifying opportunities to build the company's profile in the Mortgage Broker industry
  • Representing Allianz at key industry events and building partner relationships
  • Retaining existing portfolio
  • Establishing a National Territory Management plan for key partnerships

To be considered for this role you will possess:

  • Experience in cultivating and growing strong strategic business partnerships
  • Excellent influencing and presentation skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, as well as organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience or exposure to the Mortgage Broker industry
  • Knowledge of and experience in lending, home loans or general insurance
  • Advanced MS Office skills including; Excel, PowerPoint and Word
