About the Role:

As an Organisational Development Consultant, you will play a key role as part of a cross-functional team delivering transformation projects to enable strategic objectives. The position holder utilises their subject matter expertise to contribute to the design and delivery of assigned HR related activities from planning to embedment stages, working with a range of stakeholders at various levels.


Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to thoroughly understand the culture and capabilities required to deliver on the business strategy.
  • Actively participate in planning, researching, analysing, designing and delivering HR related work on assigned projects with support from other team members as appropriate. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional experts including change managers to ensure that the project objectives are met and that the program as a whole delivers business benefit.
  • Collaborate closely with HR leaders to leverage in-house capability and capacity in order to deliver the agreed projects.
  • Support the Project Managers to identify, discuss, mitigate and monitor project risks.


To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

  • Proven experience in Human Resource Management including Organisational Development, working for large and complex organisations.
  • Strong background in Organisational Transformation and Change Management. 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Business, Human Resource Management or Psychology).
  • Capacity to rapidly acquire an understanding of the insurance industry and its operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills in order to liaise and collaborate with senior leaders, influence outcomes, and prepare management reports. 
  • Previous industry sector background in Big-4 Consulting or Pharmaceutical will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to relevant employment legislation and standards in Australia and New Zealand
