 About the Role:

The Learning & Development Instructional Designer will be working within the Program L&D team for the Conduct and Culture Transformation Program which consists of 17 projects. This role will be mainly working on projects in the Culture pillar, focusing on professional development and soft skills areas.


Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Work across multiple projects in the Program at any one time (dependent on the needs of the Program), partner with project team members and the business - working very closely with Change Managers, Organisational Development Specialists, business SMEs and Business Owner in each project.
  • Consult extensively to gather requirements and assess suitability of potential learning solutions and identify synergies between projects for learning across the Program.
  • Provide expert L&D advice for the design of blended learning solutions and use modern learning design techniques to innovate and build the learning culture through modern and fit for purpose design methodologies.
  • Develop all learning assets required for the project.
  • Contribute to the development of templates for all learning materials governance across the Program.
  • Manage (with project Change Manager) the review and sign off process for learning materials within each project.


To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years Instructional Design experience
  • Previous experience developing learning solutions across multiple projects under a Program (ability to juggle a variety of subjects and work within multiple teams at the same time and manage stakeholder expectations).
  • Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility and preparedness to work in a dynamic environment responding to emerging risks, project challenges and achieve deadlines.
  • Previous experience developing learning solutions for professional development and soft skills areas that fall into the categories of the projects as listed above.
  • Contemporary knowledge of learning methods and technology.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Previous exposure to a heavily regulated customer focused industry.
