A unique and exciting role has been created within our Line2 Risk Management team to support the company through our transformation and change journey.  Reporting into the Head of Risk Governance & Monitoring, the Risk Manager, Risk Frameworks is an important member of the team that is responsible for the implementation of a clear and consistent framework for identifying, assessing and managing risks across the organisation. 

This role will support the Head of Risk Governance and Monitoring to prepare, review and update key risk management policies, frameworks and standards to align with the business strategy and overarching Risk Management framework.  The team is also responsible for providing key risk monitoring activities and reporting to senior management and boards on the operating effectiveness of the risk framework.  Key elements of the role are to support the development and maturity of the Risk Management Strategy, Risk Appetite Statement, risk manuals and key risk policies and procedures.

Key Role Objectives:

  • Support the implementation of a consistent approach to the identification, assessment and management of risks through a clear and concise risk management framework
  • Support the implementation of the Risk Management Framework across the organisation with a primary focus on developing, reviewing and updating risk policies, frameworks, procedures, standards and manuals and effective embedding of the framework in BAU processes
  • Support the implementation of a program of activities to promote risk awareness and accountability for the managing of risks by the first line
  • Provide support to other members of the broader Risk Management team, as appropriate

 About You:

The successful applicant will be an inquisitive and results driven individual and possess the following experience and skills: 

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a risk management role with financial services or insurance industry experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Economics, Finance or Law
  • Understanding of risk management concepts and frameworks
  • Experience with identification, assessment and management frameworks for managing strategic risk
  • Experience with risk in change and the identification, assessment and management of key risks associated with change initiatives
  • Understanding of risk analytics and qualitative and quantitative risk measures
