About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Workforce Planning Manager – CPMO, to be appointed within our Strategy and Transformation team, located at our Market Street, Sydney CBD office.

Reporting to the Senior Manager CPMO, you will be primarily responsible for modelling and forecasting project resource requirements across all Allianz projects and programs, working with project and program managers to ensure the quality and accuracy of resource plans and working with resource managers and HR teams to identify upcoming resourcing requirements.

You will report on workforce planning, capacity and the impact of resource management on the delivery of the CPMO's project portfolio.

The workforce planning manager will work with senior stakeholders across multiple teams to meet work area objectives, recommending remedial actions where required to ensure the project portfolio is optimally resourced.

About You: 

  • Experience with Workforce Management Reporting including project workforce planning, capacity and the impact of resource management.
  • Solid experience managing resource needs of a large and dynamic organisation, from needs analysis to developing effective supply and demand management strategies.
  • Experience working within the Financial Services sector would be highly regarded
  • A background and understanding of project resource demand planning & forecasting, including conducting needs analysis to ascertain upcoming project resource requirements and forward workforce estimates, working with project and program managers to ensure the quality and accuracy of resource plans. 
  • Able to ensure and deliver adequate supplier sourcing strategies for key project resource areas, based on planned capability and workforce capacity planning.
  • Previous experience in the review and improvement of processes for approving, hiring and on-boarding the various resource types (Permanent/Fixed Term staff, Contingent Labour, Contractors and Consultants/Professional Services), to enable resource managers to address project resourcing needs in a timely manner.
