People Analytics Manager

  • Fixed Term Contract Role for 9-12 months

About the Role:

Our Human Resource Division is currently seeking a People Analytics Manager to join the team on a 9 - 12 month fixed term.

As a People Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for growing the people analytics and reporting function across the business whilst supporting the global HR reporting function and helping leaders and HRBPs to identify actionable insights by providing supporting analysis of HR related data. You will be accountable for the Implementation of the Success Factors Workforce Intelligence Tool and working with the Workforce Transformation and Analytics Centre of Expertise to align local reporting. You will report into the General Manager, HR Operations and be responsible for  2 direct reports.

Further Responsibilities:

  • Support global HR reporting function, help leaders and HRBP's identify actionable insights from the analysis by providing supporting analysis of HR related data using BI tools and statistical means to communicate the actionable insights.
  • Increase the delivery of reporting available across the company. Provide expert level consulting and management to identify and support HR and business reporting and data needs.
  • Initiate and manage reporting tool enhancement, and prepare report and reporting solution specifications.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of self-services reporting tools and data management that reflects the complexity of global reporting across different global and local platforms. Take ownership of existing HR reports (e.g. HR Metrics reporting including future workforce KPI's) to drive meaningful business results.
  • Identify relationships and trends in data. Report results of statistical analyses in the form of graphs, charts, and tables. Work within agreed data governance and operating model to ensure data integrity and manage operational risk.
  • Lead and manage the HR Reporting team to ensure behavioural aspects are established and provide leadership of three business analysts to help identify reporting required to make HR investment and talent management decisions.
  • Provide coaching to HR team on reporting.
  • Build partnerships with HR and business stakeholders and support the use of data supported decision making. Regularly engage the local and global development teams by working closely with internal IT, Reporting and CoE to deliver tools and system solutions.
  • Continue to work with the WTA CoE to develop predictive models for attrition, high performance, and recruiting demand by manipulating and analysing large datasets using analytic features of multiple tools. 
  • Continue to advance the use of analytical techniques and statistical thinking across Human Resources, including within the HR Reporting team. Actively seek out opportunities to work with the WTA CoE and local HRBP's to develop local skillset.

About you:

The successful applicant will possess the following skills, attributes and experience: 

  • 5+ years' experience working in previous roles with a high degree of complex data analysis and translation of data analysis into insights.
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Statistics or related discipline would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • You will be collaborative and a strong team player.
