De to continued expansion we are recruiting a Manager, Statutory Reporting to join the Finance Division. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Control, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across Allianz and with our partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Timely and accurate delivery of all external reporting and group reporting requirements. This includes monthly, quarterly and year end reporting deliverables in relation to Allianz's Australia and New Zealand general insurance operations, term life insurance operations and its subsidiaries, as well as the financial requirements of the workers' compensation businesses. The role will be responsible for the effective management of the external audit relationship, and for ensuring that a robust financial reporting control environment is in place.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain an effective business steering function.
  • Understand new accounting standards impacting the industry and collaborate with functions across Finance and the wider business to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Leading, developing and motivating the team to strive for continuous improvement and business steering in performing their roles.

The key skills & experience are as follows:

  • CA or CPA qualified with minimum 5 years post qualification experience in the financial services industry. Insurance industry experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent effective communication and engagement skills at all stakeholder levels.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience in leading and developing high performance teams.
