About the Role:

To support the continued development of our Injury Management, Health and Wellbeing model across CTP

Claims, we have identified an opportunity for a permanent position for a Team Manager role. Reporting to the National Manager, Injury Management, Health and Wellbeing, you will use your strong leadership skills to lead, empower and support Injury Management Specialists (IMS) to optimise claims outcomes, through a person centred approach to customer experience.

In the role of a Team Manager you will be accountable for:

  • Leadership, mentoring and development of IMS, across various office site locations, by role modelling Allianz's leadership values and People Attributes.
  • Driving the success of the IMS framework to optimise claims outcomes, excellence in customer experience and meeting of compliance requirements. This includes building on and fostering positive team culture and robust processes for the delivery of IMS coaching and support of claims teams across the CTP business.
  • Demonstrating effective change leadership to support the team in embedding the objectives of the Injury Management, Health and Wellbeing model across CTP Claims. This will include recruitment, development and succession planning of Injury Management Specialists, to ensure current and future business needs are met.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve claim outcomes across the business through collaborative leadership with IMS, Team Managers and claims teams to implement solutions. This includes driving holistic, return to life to outcomes underpinned, by best practice standards and cost-effectiveness.
  • Actively contributing to the delivery of strategic innovation opportunities across the CTP business through Injury Management Specialist leadership, promoting entrepreneurial orientation and strategic thinking.
  • Building on the quality assurance and compliance framework to ensure continuous improvement and appropriate controls are maintained.
  • Lead by example in enacting the Allianz Customer Experience Principles through person centric communication and engagement with all customers.
  • The role will be based in NSW, and is open to location within Sydney or Charlestown - subject to the successful candidate.

Required Criteria:

  • Highly developed and demonstrated skills in leading people, developing capability and fostering relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in personal injury, disability or health industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, along with demonstrated planning skills
  • Highly developed lateral thinking, analytical and decision making skills.
  • High level attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability in coaching and mentoring

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification or demonstrated experience in an Allied Health field is desirable (e.g. Occupational Therapy/Psychology/Nursing/Social Work/Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation Counselling).
