We have a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Human Resources team in the capacity of Performance & Reward Consultant. In this role you will be part of a fast paced results focused team, involved in providing advice and operational support in managing key performance review and reward activities.

The Performance & Reward team are jointly responsible for managing and administering the Performance & Reward portfolio. The Consultants also support the Manager Performance & Reward in providing first-class consulting and operational support to all levels of Allianz management. The Consultants manage and advise on all performance & reward matters such as the performance management process, incentive and share schemes, job evaluations, annual remuneration review, employee benefits and salary surveys.

About the role:

This particular position is primarily responsible for job evaluation, grading and coding, performance management operational support, employee benefits management including communications and operational support, supporting recognition programs and managing the Performance and Reward team's mailbox for employee queries and requests.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Ensure that the job evaluation framework and associated market benchmark information is maintained to a high degree of accuracy and coverage of the employee population
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to consult with and provide performance management and benefits solutions to the business as required
  • Utilise digital and other communications channels to communicate and promote Allianz performance, recognition, rewards and benefits programs
  • Perform job grading and remuneration benchmarking applying Group processes and governance
  • Actively monitor external and competitor benefit offerings and promote the Allianz suite of benefits internally to support the Allianz EVP
  • Manage any projects as required
  • Support the administration of the company's incentive programs (a) Senior Management, (b) Sales, (c) Underwriting, (d) Contact Centre and (e) Special; this includes data management, guidelines, nominations, invitations, measurement and payment processing
  • Consult on Salary Packaging and maintain relationships with novated lease and salary sacrifice providers, ensuring customer service expectations are being met
  • Provide analysis and advice, and execute performance & reward changes, necessitated by legislative or ER changes
  • Work as a part of a team delivering the annual remuneration review and variable incentive programs

About the Ideal Applicant

The successful applicant will possess at least 3-5 years' human resources experience, with a performance and reward background including job grading and salary surveys. This role will suit an individual taking the next step in their career.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Possess the ability to ‎quickly learn and understand systems, processes and business requirements
  • Have confidence to build relationships with key business partners and also work well within the team by thriving on knowledge sharing and developing capabilities
  • Enjoy being part of fast paced corporate environment
  • Be results focused and have intermediate MS Excel, analytical and numerical skills
  • Demonstrate strong consultancy and  stakeholder management skills, with a focus on attention to detail
  • Be familiar with project management and change management principles
  • Have technical expertise in all areas of performance and reward
  • Be experienced in using HR systems, reporting and remuneration review software
  • Ideally, but not essentially, possess or be studying for tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
