An exciting newly created role of Business Resilience Analyst is now available within our Cyber Protection & Resilience division, based in our Market Street, Sydney office.

Reporting to the Business Resilience Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering and maturing the overall protection and resilience framework within Allianz Australia and its subsidiaries.

The role will manage and support the BCM program for the organisation, including the implementation of fundamental controls as well as managing and minimising potential operational risk.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Continuity Manager to deliver the following role objectives and deliverables:

  • Support Resilience frameworks and plans
  • Build & Maintain effective Business Impact Analysis, Business Resilience Plans and Response Strategies.
  • Coordinate the annual testing Schedules
  • Coordinates with IT disaster recovery managers to define IT system requirements for key business processes
  • Ensure Allianz Australia is compliant to the Group Protection & Resilience Standards and APRA regulations.
  • Support the Business Continuity Manager with business continuity committees meetings including the papers and agendas
  • Facilitate, support and engage all facets of incidents / events that require activation of BCP
  • Execute training and awareness activities to ensure all employees with BCM responsibilities know and understand their roles during a business disruption.
  • Coordinate the Annual Organisational Wide Business Resilience Awareness Program.

About the Ideal Applicant:

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes, skills and experience:

  • Excellent Stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • A business partnering approach based on developing excellent internal and external relationships
  • Experience using Information Management systems including ARCHER would be highly regarded but not mandatory
  • Approximately 2-3 years' experience working in a similar role within a BCM function.
  • BCI Accreditation will be considered favourably
