As a Risk Consultant and a member of the National Risk Management team, you will be responsible for providing operational risk consulting services to our Underwriters, customers and other Intermediaries.

The role will be based in Brisbane to cover Brisbane Metro and regional QLD runs when required.   

You'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting site inspections on commercial properties, complete survey and associated reports including risk recommendations, post loss and desktop reviews in accordance with SLA
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service is provided to all of our internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Managing all expenses associated with position to plan including Tool of Trade Motor Vehicle in accordance with AAL policy
  • Identifying issues, propose resolutions and take necessary action to ensure continuous improvement to Allianz standards, practices and procedures
  • Actively contributing and participating in all projects relevant to the team

Ideally you'll have: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications i.e. Fire Technology Diploma, Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Advanced PC skills (MS office suite, database and Lotus Notes)
  • You will have highly developed relationship building and communication skills as well as a high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in risk management/general insurance will be highly regarded
  • Current drivers licence
