As Claims Service Officer you will work with a team of experienced Case Managers and have the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills within the Workers Compensation environment.

You will be involved in a variety of administrative and customer service functions including data entry, processing claims and payments, resolving customer queries and providing administration assistance to Case Managers and Underwriters as required. This role with liaise with multiple stakeholders and will suit a candidate who is personable and a team player.

Your role is to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and business objectives met through exceptional customer service.

About you:

  • Proven experience in an administration position, experience in insurance is highly desired
  • Exposure to a Claims role will be highly regarded
  • Experience in data entry and excellent attention to details
  • MS Word/Excel skills and the ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound time management skills
  • A team player
