Allianz Australia, Broker and Agency Division are dynamic, innovative and ‎successful. The Broker & Agency division is Allianz Australia's largest distribution channel whose customers include state based, national and international buyer groups throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the State Manager, the Commodity Business Specialist will take a strong focus on the Sales and Marketing of Allianz's commodity products.

This role will work closely with the Account Management Staff to develop Broker relationships and to identify and convert profitable growth opportunities.

About the role:

  • Delivery of Product Training for Commodity and other product lines when required.
  • Act as the primary internal and external referral point on Commodity automated lines relating to eBusiness matters.
  • Channel any eCommerce technical problems to eBusiness Support Co-ordinator.
  • Drive eSales opportunities whilst working closely with Account Managers to drive eBusiness profitable growth.
  • Ensure all external Business Partners are appropriately trained to fully utilise the Allianz B&A suite of eBusiness applications.
  • Regular monitoring of broker performance (opportunities, sales and profit) and work with Account Management to develop and implement appropriate remediation action as required.
  • Provide training and on-going support across the Allianz B&A eCommerce suite of applications to appropriate internal staff.

About you:

  • A solid understanding and knowledge of the General Insurance Market
  • Strong product knowledge of ecommerce products
  • A highly developed analytical mindset with the ability to pull together reporting
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
