Case Manager - Psychological

As an Allianz Case Manager for psychological injuries you'll play an active role in smoothly managing Workers Compensation claims from end-to-end, improving customer lives and well-being. As someone who builds excellent relationships, you'll help individuals return to health and work, engaging with them and their workplace on the process involved. Along the way, you'll be educating our customers on what will happen at every stage, and anything they will need to know about their claim.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Determining liability and managing a portfolio of Workers' Compensation claims for workers who have sustained psychological injuries
  • Issuing dispute notices on applicable claims
  • Supporting customers step-by-step following our Case Management Model and Injury Management programs
  • Sensitively handling personal and confidential information
  • Open and helpful customer communication via phone and email
  • Nurturing excellent customer relationships and creating positive experiences
  • Responding to enquiries responsively, respectfully and with integrity

We're looking for talent who have:

  • Extensive experience within a case management role; or similar A firm understanding of the importance of early intervention and individualised claims management
  • Superior customer service focus
  • Understanding of psychological injuries and treatment plans highly desirable for the psych case manager role
  • High-level conversational and written skills, confidence levels and a great ability to listen
  • Solid problem solving and relationship building abilities
  • The ability to express good judgement while working quickly on multiple tasks under pressure
  • Excellent time management, personal resilience and agile to changing environments
  • A mindset that is helpful, supportive and allows you to ‘walk in the shoes' of our customers
  • Highly organised working methods with good attention to detail
  • A desire to collaborate, participate and support your team, and go above and beyond to assist customers and colleagues
  • Tertiary qualification is highly desired (Psychology, Allied Health, Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy qualifications will be viewed favourably)
