Our technical division is responsible for product development, pricing, portfolio management, reinsurance and underwriting services. We support our distribution functions through the improvement of the product and pricing framework for all of the Allianz General Insurance portfolios.

This is a rare opportunity to join our team, as the Product Support Manager – Delivery for Home and Landlord products; you will be part of our team with responsibility for steering innovation and change for the portfolio. The role presents a distinct opportunity to monitor the changes in the marketplace and to ensure that Allianz responds to these challenges, and adapt to the changing regulatory landscape.  

In this role you will be responsible for:                                                                                         

  • Providing guidance and recommendations for product enhancements and supporting new product development
  • Working closely with Distribution partners to ensure continued engagement on pricing, product and regulatory changes
  • Developing a framework to actively analyse competitor information and make informed recommendations on a continuous basis
  • Monitoring performance of the portfolio in line with budget and plan targets
  • Actively participate and support a diverse team environment.

This role would be ideal for an individual who has acted in a domestic lines portfolio or product management role and is looking to develop their leadership capabilities further. 

Your skills

  • Minimum 5  years' experience within General Insurance specialising in Product, portfolio Management or underwriting
  • Experience working in a compliance or risk environment
  • An ability to operate at a strategic level
  • Expertise in managing multiple activities and working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and a proven record of implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional customer service
  • Tertiary qualifications whilst not essential will be highly regarded
