Due to business growth and demand, our Technical division is currently seeking to appoint two Pricing Implementation Analysts, to support new business growth.

The key objective of the Pricing Implementation Analyst is to ensure premium rates are implemented in the rating engines accurately and in a timely manner, as well as monitoring and testing of rates to ensure the accuracy of system premiums.

About the Role:

The Pricing Implementation Analyst will have a front row seat to the intricate pricing algorithms for our general insurance products.  As this is a new and challenging role, the successful applicants will be quick learners, able to learn new software, build efficient processes and become experts in the way Allianz prices our products. 

Key role objectives: 

  • Update rate tables and testing (front end and back end) to ensure that proposed rate tables are as approved by Pricing Committee
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure rates are implemented on time and to quality standards
  • Perform testing and impact analysis to ensure rates change as expected, and investigate and resolve where rates are not as expected
  • Build and maintain automated monitoring tools to report on accuracy of rates
  • Maintain appropriate documentation relating to rate deployment

About You:

The successful applicant will possess the following experience within a similar role, with an understanding of General Insurance products. 

  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem solving skills
  • High level stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering to deadlines
  • Testing or system implementation experience
  • Experience reviewing and documenting processes, system or business changes
  • Programming skills (eg SAS, SQL, XML Programming, Excel and VBA, Python, R)
  • Experience with Willis Towers Watson pricing software would be considered favourably
  • Previous experience working within the insurance sector would be highly regarded
