Allianz Australia, Broker and Agency Division are dynamic, innovative and ‎successful. The Broker & Agency division is Allianz Australia's largest distribution channel whose customers include Commercial, Corporate and international buyer groups throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We currently have a permanent opportunity to join our Financial Lines Team, reporting to our National Manager - Financial Lines. The role will focus on ensuring underwriting excellence is maintained, support retention activities and increase new business for the Financial Lines portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the management, growth and profitability of the Financial Lines portfolio by underwriting business in accordance with Business Plans and Underwriting Guidelines
  • Develop key broker relationships by assisting in the development and implementation of plans and strategies in accordance with overall business objectives for the Financial Lines - Broker and Agency Division.
  • Establish and maintain strong direct client relationships with risk managers and decision makers

Your skills

  • Solid experience in underwriting Financial Lines both automated and non-automated systems
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred
  • A confident communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of financial accounts and ratios
  • Good understanding of wordings and their application to risk types
