Reporting to the Head of Technology, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global program and develop a suite of retirement products in the Australian market for a new business currently being launched. We are seeking a Support Manager, responsible for owning IT support and managing the day to day support and maintenance of the IT systems.

This includes technical support and enhancement of the IT solution on a global basis and liaising with the various support areas across multiple time zones.  This will require developing an understanding of the overall IT solution, being able to identify how to support and enhance the various systems and ensuring company systems are available and SLA's are upheld.

We're looking for a flexible, articulate and self-organised Support Manager who can quickly step into a complex systems environment and put in place the required processes and support to meet the new business needs

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an intermediary between Business and IT stakeholders for Incidents and Work Orders raised
  • Manage Incident and Work Order queues and volumes, ensuring Remedy tickets are appropriately maintained and responded to
  • Develop the required processes and procedures to enable the required levels of system support
  • Work closely with other IT Teams to ensure that work items are addressed.
  • Provide consultancy to Business and IT Stakeholders regarding current system functionality
  • Provide high levels of Customer Support and Service.
  • Work with IT Program and Project Managers to ensure alignment across the project and production environments
  • Manage a small team of support staff including support, business and technical analysts

 The successful candidate will possess:

  • At least 3 - 5 years support management experience managing IT support within the financial services sector ideally within Wealth Management
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Proven strong ability to build positive relationships and communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivated and outcome driven and enjoys a fast paced environment
