About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for results focused Project Manager to join our Information Technology team.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering quality solutions to the customer through managing the end to end delivery of projects within budget, specification and to an agreed timetable.

You will have an extensive background in Project Management and be able to demonstrate your achievements and success managing large complex IT projects. You will be able to manage competing demands of multiple projects and demonstrate your business and commercial acumen through strategic planning and conceptual thinking.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in driving successful change management initiatives and programs and will be able to identify and provide solutions for continued business improvement objectives.

About You:

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes and experience:

  • Agile experience will be highly regarded.
  • Extensive experience in managing IT application projects within a complex business environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships at senior stakeholder level.
  • Proven experience in people leadership and coaching for success.
  • Demonstrated skills in engaging with multiple teams in a matrix environment
  • Solid and proven experience working within the financial services industry, ideally including General or Life Insurance within a Project Management or similar role.
  • Professional qualifications such as CAPM, PMP, RegPM would be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology would be desirable.
