An exciting opportunity within our IT division based at North Sydney is now available, for an Assurance Service Representative to be appointed.

About the Role:

The Assurance Service Representativeis responsible for building the independent risk management function, overseeing all risk, control, outsourcing and resilience management activities in a subsidiary, internally as well as with relationships to customers and third party providers.

Other key role deliverables include:

  • Coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Risk and Control System (IRCS).
  • Coordinating the implementation and maintenance of Business Contingency (BCM), IT-Service Continuity Management (IT-SCM) and Crisis Management
  • Acting as the local Compliance Representative ensuring Allianz Technology's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies, standards and guidelines
  • Acting as the local Privacy Coordinator ensuring Allianz Technology's compliance with data privacy laws and regulations
  • Building the second line IT Security function monitoring the local activities' in this area
  • Coordinates legal advice from outside legal counsel or other Allianz legal departments and acts as the interface to the global legal team in Munich and in the APAC region.

About You:

The successful applicant will possess the following experience, skills and attributes: 

  • Ratification of the Corporate Rulesbook  by local Executive Management; if necessary with adaptations, due to local regulation, after pre-alignment with AZ Technology Munich
  • Assurance that local entity fully complies with Corporate Rulesbook Framework
  • Implementation and co-ordination of concerning risk, control, outsourcing resilience management, compliance, data privacy and IT security  procedures following the globally unified approach at AZ Technology
  • Co-ordination of risk assessments, control testing,  development of mitigation plans and it´s follow up
  • University degree in Law, Economics, Engineering or comparable qualification would be highly regarded.
  • Multi-year professional experience in different areas of safeguarding functions ideally gained in an international environment
  • Good understanding of risk categories: operational risk, IT risk, project risk, third party risk, business risk
