Senior Claims Service Consultant - Life and Consumer Credit Claims (CCI) 

  • Sydney CBD location
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Specialised portfolio of CCI & Life claims 

We have an opportunity for an experienced Claims professional to join our CCI/Life team in Sydney. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be part of a high performance culture and join a customer focused team consisting of Technical Managers, Claims Service Consultants and administrative support staff. 

As Senior Claims Service Consultant, you will be our first ‎point of contact for new claimants and assist existing customers with ‎their enquiries. You will have passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers in ‎their “Moment of Truth" and act as a true ambassador of a trusted brand.‎ As a senior member of the team you will positively contribute to team culture, drive change and innovation.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Managing initial and ongoing assessment of claims through to finalisation
  • Building effective relationships with a variety of key ‎‎stakeholders - both internal and external.
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of a high standard of customer service and provide regular updates to customers throughout the duration of their claim. 

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Experience in managing Life Insurance Claims
  • A naturally empathetic nature, with a strong customer service focus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong technical/medical skills and an ability to take ownership of tasks
