Our Financial Institutions business markets consumer and small business insurance products via Banks, Credit Unions and Affinity Groups. At Allianz, we are proud of our long term partnerships with many of Australia's leading financial institutions and the role we play in assisting to grow their insurance business. 

It is an exciting time to work within our Financial Institutions Team to continue to grow and develop relationships with all of our Financial Institution Partners. We are looking for motivated, result driven and innovative professional to join this team as a Digital Channel Manager. This role will be responsible for generating sustainable and profitable growth within assigned Allianz account/s. This will involve managing internal and external relationships and the end-to-end sales processes with a strategic and customer-centric approach.

Reporting directly to the Strategic Alliance Manager you will:

  • Develop and agree strategic and tactical action plans to develop and grow partner business online
  • Develop multi-tier relationship strategy and agree as part of account review process
  • Agree and execute online marketing campaigns with partner/s in line with the FI Marketing calendar
  • Design and execute new product and campaign launches within the online channel
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Formally agree online sales targets for existing and business with partner and achieve target business levels
  • Initiate ideas to increase leads, calls, customer base and sales opportunities
  • Initiate ideas and initiatives to better integrate into our partner's banking ecosystem
  • Deliver scheduled and ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business understanding and decision making
  • Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with statutory and ethical responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in digital and online sales
  • Proven experience in developing and managing multiple, high level business relationships
  • Excellent strategic and tactical selling skills
  • Ability to think creatively and drive innovation
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of the team 

Experience within the General Insurance Industry is a plus!
