We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Retention Specialist to join our highly driven and successful Direct to consumer insurance team.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Retention, you will be responsible for developing and implementing customer retention strategies and initiatives across our Home, Motor, Landlords and Travel insurance products.  With proven relationship management and execution capability, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions to meet the customer needs.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Implementing customer retention strategies and plans across all marketing channels
  • Identify, recommend, drive and implement innovative business improvement initiatives to deliver business results, enhance customer experience and deliver operational efficiencies
  • Strategically managing and successfully delivering of projects and initiatives according to agreed plans, on time and on budget
  • Optimise and monitor retention programmes and initiatives
  • Create relevant promotions for existing customers
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to design attractive and effective multi-channel marketing initiatives, campaigns and promotions, aligned with brand strategy and guidelines

Suitable candidates will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven knowledge of the general insurance market, preferably with direct to consumer experience
  • Customer service experience and/or focus
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Project management or change management experience
  • Lateral thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in creating and executing retention marketing strategies
  • The ability to work to tight timeframes and with multiple stakeholders
