HR Generalist - Australia/New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Updating policies and procedures when required
  • Facilitating the end-to-end Recruitment Process and On-Boarding process
  • Partnering  with the CEO and local management team when dealing with performance reviews, compensation strategies, talent management action plans and employee relations
  • Driving the performance review process - including identifying training needs for employees
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders - including the Regional and Group HR representatives
  • Working closely with the local and regional Finance teams with regards to Budgeting
  • Providing monthly, quarterly and yearly HR reports
  • Liaising with Allianz Payroll on an ongoing basis
  • Being the point of contact for WHS queries and work closely with the Allianz WHS team

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years experience working as a HR Generalist
  • Qualification with HR would be an advantage.  
  • End-to-end recruitment experience
  • Ability to interpret local legislation and awards  (across Australia & New Zealand)
  • Prior exposure to HRIS
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage expectations whilst influencing and building credibility
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a positive can-do attitude
  • Key attention to detail
