Development Manager VIC

Our Broker & Agency Distribution division works with a large network of brokers nationally. We deliver consistent, sustainable insurance risk and premium funding solutions for our broker partners and their clients

This inspiring leader will effectively lead and manage their nominated Broker Account Management team, taking primary ownership of local sales and relationship management for nominated Broker portfolio. They will facilitate strong Broker relationships and implement business plans to grow the business and work with Allianz key stakeholders to prospect for profitable business, taking ownership of key opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop & maintain best in market relationships across nominated Broker panel. 
  • Develop organic growth strategies for existing accounts, including cross-sell initiatives and lead new business development activities.    
  • Achievement of the budgeted monthly/annual targets and provide forecasts of expected sales volumes on a monthly basis.
  • Coach and develop the Account Management team to drive success

Skills and Background:

Suitable candidate will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with strategic selling strategies/processes
  • A solid history of people management
  • Clear and articulate communicator
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Good negotiation and resolution skills
