Club Marine is regarded as Australia's premier marine pleasurecraft insurer and has been operating in Australia for over 50 years, with a team that has boating and the industry are always top of mind, when dealing with insurance for boats of sizes and makes. Club Marine is a member of the global Allianz Group.

We are currently seeking a motivated sales professional to join our New South Wales team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will manage a portfolio of insurance brokers or dealer agents and grow the portfolio through new business development, and retention of existing clients. You will develop maintain and strengthen relationships to contribute to Club Marine's national profitable growth objectives.

You will be required to develop strategic business plans, for existing clients and identify and execute new business opportunities. You will also represent Club Marine at and experience events such as Boat Shows and other sponsored on-water events - such as sailing regatta's, fishing tournaments, jet ski days and cruiser rendezvous.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous experience dealing with insurance brokers or boat dealers in the General Insurance market is highly desirable
  • Experience in the insurance or marine industry (e.g. in a underwriting, broking, boat dealership or sales role) will be considered
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Strategic selling and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of boats and the marine/boating industry is desirable
