An opportunity now exists within our National Investigations Unit for a dynamic Team Leader.  You will be based in the Sydney CBD with opportunities to grow your career and the certainty of a Permanent position with a multiple award-winning Insurance Company.

As a Member of the National Investigations Management team you are expected to manage the Analyst Team in their provision of information and intelligence analysis functions across all Allianz lines of claims business (eg. Personal Lines, Workers Compensation, CTP). 

Your responsibilities in this role include: 

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to improve detection processes and achieve investigative outcomes
  • Ensuring the implementation of tactical, operational and strategic fraud detection and fraud minimisation solutions that contribute to Allianz anti-fraud plan
  • Delivering professional service and analysis in accordance with requests and agreements
  • Communicating effectively to appropriate stakeholder's results and outcomes of searching and analysis
  • Contributing to the identification of fraud detection mechanisms and assisting in the implementation of operational solutions to minimise fraudulent activity
  • Providing timely & accurate reports and supporting in the development and implementation of NIU projects wherever required
  • Assisting in the implementation of operational solutions to minimise fraudulent activity and demonstrating through quarterly feedback the performance of NIU detection techniques
  • Managing Analyst specific software licences and hardware requirements
  • Responsible for team members achieving their targets, enhancing their skills through mentoring or training and aligning their practices to the goals of Allianz and the NIU

Ideally, you will possess:

  • Commercial experience in insurance industry with experience in the development of an information or data collection plan and intelligence analysis
  • Experience in Analytics tools particularly visualisation tools, such as i2 (or similar)
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Experience in intelligence gathering, and reporting
  • Strong leadership capability
