Allianz is looking for a Head of Marketing to join our marketing team based in the Sydney CBD. Reporting into the Head of Retail Marketing, this role drives our ATL and BTL marketing activities across our direct Motor, Home, Landlord and Small Business product lines.

We are looking for a highly motivated, committed and driven professional who can lead an integrated team across multiple disciplines to achieve business excellence.

Key responsibilities for the role include:-

  • Lead the annual marketing strategy planning process to identify and develop key activities to meet our quote and sales targets across the direct product lines.
  • Developing compelling value propositions and key messaging based on customer insights and product features.
  • Lead and deliver integrated acquisition campaigns (including tactical activities) across product lines including briefing creative, media, digital and social teams.
  • Create and execute acquisition and retention eDM campaigns including maintaining an offer matrix.
  • Manage the stakeholder sign off process for all marketing activities including distribution, claims, technical and legal.
  • Manage and report on sales and campaign outcomes.
  • Contribute to improving the end-to-end customer experience including website content, online purchase journey and customer communication touchpoints.

Experience required for the position:-

  • 4+ years as a senior marketing manager with proven track record in managing integrated marketing campaigns across television, radio, print, outdoor, digital, social and eDM.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing mandatory with experience preferably in Insurance, Banking or similar service based organisation.
  • Strong understanding of trends in marketing channels and how to leverage these channels effectively to deliver business growth.
  • Email campaign management and automation experience.
  • Significant experience in campaign data analysis and reporting.
  • Effectively lead, develop and mentor team of direct and indirect reports.
  • Managing complex marketing projects.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders across the business including technical and creative.
  • Strong budget management experience and business acumen.
