Senior Service Desk Analyst

  • First point of contact for any hardware, software, system and application issues reported by internal users

Allianz is looking for Senior Service Desk Analyst to join our IT Business Services team based in Sydney CBD on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Provide 1st level technical support across a broad range of IT services. Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, system and application issues and requests reported by users of Allianz IT systems. Act as a senior member of the team by training new team members, being an escalation point within the team and acting as 2iC when the Service Desk Team Lead is absent.

The key skills & experience desired for this position are as follows:-

  • Leadership qualities/experience
  • Commercial experience in analysis, system support or a Service Desk environment
  • Very strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very strong customer focus
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows 7 and Microsoft Office
  • Reliable and takes ownership and responsibility of their work
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage workload while adhering to SLAs
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexibly with rotational shifts (including on-call) covering 7:00am-11:00pm Monday-Friday and 7:00am-9:00pm on weekends and public holidays

It would be highly regarded if you also have experience such as:-

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in the field of Information Technology
  • Working knowledge of Citrix and Lotus Notes
