Senior Analyst Programmer - BPM

Allianz is looking for Senior Analyst Programmer - BPM to join our IT team based in Sydney CBD on a Full Time permanent basis.

This position is to be part of the BPM team at Allianz. The team are responsible for the development and support of the BPM processes at Allianz. You'll need strong skills using IBM BPM software as well as excellent communication skills to engage with the business and the various teams you'll work with each day.

The key skills & experience desired for this position are as follows:-

  • Analyse, Design, Estimate, Develop and Test BPM solutions using BPM technologies
  • Support, Maintain and enhance the current BPM applications
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Process Analysts and End Users to deliver software that satisfies customer requirements
  • Work closely with business users to ensure that BPM applications are fulfilling business needs
  • Work closely with I&O infrastructure teams to ensure that BPM applications are executing correctly and efficiently on platforms provided
  • Collaborate with peers. Mentor / Coach more junior analyst programmers
  • Conduct peer code reviews
  • Ensure developed software aligns with approved application / enterprise architecture
  • Keep abreast of BPM standards and industry trends

It would be highly regarded if you also have experience such as:
Technical:

  • 5+ years of IBM BPM v8.x/v7.x experience
  • 7+ years of BPM development experience
  • Strong Database and SQL knowledge
  • A tertiary qualification
  • Desired - experience with companion technologies - ECM, Java, AJAX, UCD, IIB, SDLC
  • Solid experience in a complex IT environment.
  • Competency in IT delivery approaches (Waterfall and Agile)

Leadership

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), documentation, and time management skills
  • Strong focus on customer support and communication
  • Insurance / Financial Services Domain Competencies & Experience:
  • 5+ years delivering software into production for an insurance or financial services organisation
  • Good understanding of policy / claims lifecycle
