Allianz is looking for Testing Services Manager to join our Information Technology division based in the Sydney CBD on a Full Time Permanent basis. You will be a key leader to manage a Global Test team responsible for Functional, Automation and Performance testing of systems to ensure delivery of Quality assured applications to production.

Your strong leadership management skills are critical as you will manage large global test team with onshore and offshore footprints managing senior delivery leads as direct reports.

This will include the following responsibilities:-

  • Define Functional, Automation & Non-functional Strategies and enable supporting roadmap plans
  • Develop Test Strategies, Plans, Publish Status Reports, Metrics reports to Program stakeholders.
  • Review and manage Test planning and execution progress
  • Track and monitor delivery of projects aligning to time, cost and quality requirements.
  • Support with  business case and support Proof of Concepts on any new Test  tools & solutions
  • Manage Risks and Issues associated with Testing engagements
  • Manage a continuous improvement process for all the aspects of testing within the organisation.
  • Determine learning and development requirements of team members
  • Manage Department Cost Centre planning and management.

To be considered for this role, it is essential you will possess:-

  • 15 plus years of overall IT experience, with minimum of 5 plus years of managing the overall Testing Services function within an organisation.
  • 5 plus years of  experience in  managing  large Portfolio's  consisting of  Functional, Automation and Performance testing streams for BAU and  Project portfolios
  • 10 plus years' experience as  Portfolio Manager / Senior Test Manager
  • Proven experience of operating in a  global delivery model
  • Experience in setting up a testing centre of excellence, implementing test methodologies, test governance, best practices, with a good understanding of varying test strategies and approaches.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills and a high attention to quality and detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to manage the stakeholders at all levels in the organisation, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, collaboration and exemplified project management skills.
  • Domain experience in Banking or Financial services, ideally insurance
  • Experience of managing cost centre and test suppliers.
