Business Intelligence Analyst                                                                 

  • Manage planning and implementation of Analytics and Business Intelligence strategies through a variety of projects
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement to ensure profitable growth and reduction in expenses

Allianz is looking for Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Market Management division based in the Sydney CBD on a Full Time Temporary basis. This role will see you involved in the planning and implementation of Analytics and Business Intelligence strategies through a variety of projects and tasks designed to understand key business behaviours that drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement to ensure profitable growth and reduction in expenses.

This will include the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting internal and external customers in a timely manner, making access easy and being responsive to all queries, both data and business related.
  • Provide external organisations with their requirements on time and to their specifications.
  • Consistently maintaining a customer focus in all task deliverables and outcomes.
  • Designing and building reports and analyses using a variety of software tools.                             
  • Working with several large and complex databases.  
  • Contribute to recommendations and the design of ongoing extensions and improvements to the data structure

To be considered for this role, it is essential you will possess:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or Finance
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAS
  • Strong analytical and computing skills
  • Good database and spreadsheet skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to manage the stakeholders at all levels in the organisation, both written and verbal
