As a Allianz CTP Claims consultant (CTP standing for Compulsory Third Party), you will manage personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents. As a valued member of our team, you'll take charge of your own CTP Claims portfolio, working alongside our Team Manager and Case Reviewer to manage your portfolio of personal injury claims. As well as managing the needs of the injured claimant, you  will gather medical information, review treatment requests, liaise with doctors, lawyers and employers to proactively progress claims to resolution.  

You'll be responsible for: 

•    Managing your own claims portfolio while supporting claimants through their injury and rehabilitation, driving effective return to work/health outcomes
•    Providing fair and reasonable outcomes for insured claimants, while being mindful of processes and targets
•    Implementing claims management strategies and best practice methods
•    Making settlement offers and attending settlement conferences and attend CARS (Claims Assessment & Resolution Service) and Court hearings with our panel lawyers and barristers 
•    Working and liaising with stakeholders including injured claimants, lawyers, rehabilitation advisors and medical professionals
•    Accurately adding data to our systems and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality on individual cases
•    Professionally dealing with customer interactions and building effective relationships 

We're looking for talent who have:

•    An empathetic, professional and courteous manner
•    CTP, liability or equivalent experience (preferred)
•    An understanding of insurance legislation (desired)
•    Sound problem solving skills
•    The ability to negotiate and resolve conflict should it occur
•    A positive attitude for proactivity, taking ownership and managing targets
•    An ability to energetically handle a high volume of work with autonomy
•    Excellent time management skills and able to work in a fast paced environment
•    Tertiary qualifications with recent legal graduates (with 1-2 yrs experience) being highly desired
